The IEEE S3S conference celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2019. Incize CEO, Dr Mostafa Emam, served as the General Chair of this edition of the S3S conference. He has been involved in this conference for several years in different functions.
The IEEE S3S conference has a long history of regrouping academics and industrials working on the development and enhancement of the SOI technology since its very beginning. In recent years, the conference merged with sub-Vt conference and added a 3D track, hence its new name. The conference covers in depth the low-power, high-performance and 3D integration, the three technologies essentially needed for today and tomorrow’s new applications like IoT.
